Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota
Promoting independence, security and a fulfilling lifestyle for those with intellectual disabilities.
Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota strives to be a home that is considered to be an extension of residents’ families. We respect and nurture residents’ roots weaving them into the fabric of the residential community. Safe and secure we offer the supportive living setting, organizational supports and programs that allow residents to develop independence.
Residents work toward their individual short and long term goals with the help of the professional staff, family members and others who care about them. Unlike more secular residences, Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota homes embrace all the dimensions of residents’ well-being. We foster spiritual growth in the same way we stimulate intellectual and emotional well-being.
In this Christian environment, the physical, emotional and spiritual health of each member of the community is valued, protected and nurtured. Individualized, carefully monitored programs challenge residents to reach their potential through education, training and the development of social skills.

Friendship Place
Opening its doors in October 2008 in the Twin Cities’ northeast metro area of Lino Lakes, Friendship Place found itself at capacity almost immediately. Located on a two-acre site on the property of Rice Creek Covenant Church, the eight residents served at here reflects our commitment to working with local Covenant churches to provide quality living opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.
Lakes Place
In the summer of 2017, Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota was contacted by authorities from Anoka County to ask if we would be willing to take over a program from another organization that was leaving the area and would no longer be providing services within the County. Authorities, being familiar with the high quality level of services that we provide felt that we would be a good fit to take over this program. In October of 2017, the transfer was finalized and we began providing services to three adult men. These men have a higher acuity than any of the residents in our other homes.
Oaks Place 1 & 2
Oaks Place 1 & 2 are each 2 bedroom apartments in a large apartment complex in Blaine. The four residents being served at Oaks Place 1& 2 have a higher level of independence than our other residents. These residents work outside of the home and have a lower level of supervision than the typical CERMN resident. We acquired these residents as a part of a transfer from another organization in March 2019.
Grace Place
Grace Place was acquired at same time as the Oaks Place homes. Grace is a 4BR single family home in a quiet neighborhood in Ham Lake which provides services to three men. Staffed 24 hours a day, these residents receive all of the services necessary to help them achieve their goals in becoming as independent as they are capable of.
